Finally! School is over!!!!!!!!
I've a got a few days to relax before I start work and summer school.... FUN! I'm hoping to get in lots of shopping!!
OPI DS Original, lavender holo (3 coats)
Konad with plate M77. I normally stamp my nails facing me, meaning that they look the 'right' way when I look at them, which is why it kinda looks weird in the picture.. in real life, its as if my nails are wearing necklaces!!
Have a great weekend!

Sally Hansen Gray by Gray
Hello!
Last week, I stopped by the drugstore near my school for a little pick-me-up after my Communications exam. I didn't plan on buying anything, just wanted to check what new stuff they had. As I passed my the Sally Hansen stand, I couldn't help but pick a few bottles up. They look soo nice! I only picked up a bottle though, because the brush looked weird to me and I wanted to try it out first before indulging myself :).
I chose Gray by Gray, a creamy grayed blue. The formula was great and application super easy, so I only needed 2 coats for opacity.
Here's the brush. It's a flat wide brush, a bit rounded at the tip that I had to get used to it, but I actually really like it!
Definitely will be picking up a few more!

Revlon Peach Nectar
Hello there!
I'm here in my room, sorting through the pictures I took at the Olympic Athletes' parade yesterday. It was so much fun! It always warms my heart when I see everybody come together and show their pride like yesterday. I went alone, since my friends had exams and my sister had to work at school (although she did join me a bit in the end), but I had a blast!
One of the reason I went was because I was hoping to meet/see Jasey-Jay Anderson, PGS snowboarder. He is such a great person. Shows great determination and passion for his work, sport and family. Well guess what?! I got his autograph and he looked at me! Lol something to brag about there, huh?! I totally had a fangirl moment.... I also got to see Scott Moir and Tessa Virtue, who are even more adorable in real life. All in all, I had an amazing time! I will post pictures soon! :D
Now onto my nails. I did not think about doing a themed mani until after I had put on my current color, Revlon Peach Nectar.
This one is a sheer peach creme, from the same collection as Revlon Minted. I actually like this one more than I expected! It's a bit like Miley, meaning that it has a bit of a jelly-like look. The formula was a bit sheer, so I used 4 coats. Very cute and summery!

Zoya Miley
Happy Friday!!
Hope you all had a good week! I'm certainly looking forward to the weekend, since the weather has been sooo incredibly nice!
Here's Zoya Miley, a jelly-like sheer lilac cream. This is very pretty. I used 3 coats (without top coat), but could be worn with an additional coat for bottle color. It's very soft, subtle, and very appropriate for the nice weather!!!!!! I showed this to my cousin, and she really liked it! Now we just have to try it on her to see what it looks like, because she is more tanned than I am, but I think it'll look very nice.
Now, go outside and enjoy the great weather!!

I'll be back Friday!!!
Hi!!
Finally done with my finals!!! Well.. almost. I have one more on the 29th but between now and then, I'm free!! I've finally purchased a nail polish for my cousin, I'll show her tomorrow and we'll see if she likes it! (I got Zoya Miley). Also, there's going to be a parade for the Canadian olympic athletes in downtown Montreal on Friday, so I cannot wait for that! :)
I haven't been taking pictures of my nails these last few days, but you're not missing out on much... I've been neglecting my cuticles a wee bit and I haven't changed my mani in more than a week, so its started to chip. Needless to say, I won't take a picture now.
Since I have nothing more to show you today, I will leave you with my new jam!! I've been listening to this song all week long. Helps me not fall asleep :)
Have a great day!

Miss K Spongicure and China Glaze Custom Kicks
Hii!! Taking a break from studying and writing essay papers to post a quick up update!
Miss K did another spongicure recently, using Orly Cashmere Cardigan as a base. She topped it with a silver glitter polish! Cute!
Last week, I had worm China Glaze Custom Kicks. It's a bright teal with gold shimmer. If you enlarge the picture, I believe you can see the tiny flecks! Pretty!
Not polish related, but I was wondering if any of my readers are going to attend Coachella in a few days?! [I wish I could be there... damn exams. It's definitely on my bucket list, though! I want to attend all the major music festivals around the world! Woo!] If you are going to Coachella, I want to see pictures (make me jealous) !! ;)
Take care!

OPI Jade is the New Black
Hi all!!
I know you've probably seen this color like a million times, but I recently received it in a wonderful swap and MUST show you!!
I absolutely love it!! I've pretty much been drooling every I saw a picture of this shade, so I was very excited to get my own bottle! It certainly didn't disappoint!
Jade is the New Black is a gorgeous muted green. The formula was great (2 coats), the only complaint I have is the brush... I'm not a huge fan of OPI's wide brush...
Finals are coming up!
To all my fellow students,
Good luck for your exams!

Update!
Hey guys!!!
I hope you all had a real good Easter weekend!
I'm so sorry for the serious lack of updates. Finals are coming up and I have so many papers to write for my courses!! Spending my weekend away and without my computer definitely made it a bit harder on me (I'm a big procrastinator, I just love to work under pressure!).
However, it's the weekend again so I'll just take a little time to show something new!
Essie Rockstar Skinny, a dark brownish red with a subtle shimmer. I love this color!! Very sexy haha!! My picture doesn't do it any justice, though. I'll have to try to get a better one...
Also, here's Miss K's konadicure from last week:
Before leaving last week, I lent my friend Miss K a few nail polishes to do her nails, so I'll have that to show you the next few days! Hopefully, I'll get my nail polishes back!! I heard she REALLY like China Glaze's Agent Lavender....
Before I forget, I just really wanted to thank every person that has commented on my 'help a blogger' post! You guys gave me some great suggestions! I'll look for some pictures and show them all to my cousin. Hopefully, there's at least one of them that she likes! I will also be keeping the konading idea in mind.
I'll keep you guys updated, and will definitely post some pictures!!
Have a great weekend everybody!!

NP Blogger needs your help!!
Happy Easter everyone!!!
I need your help today. My dear cousin is getting married this July and her theme is lavender and light blue, like so:
She has asked me to do her nails, and I cannot be happier!! (I'll also be a junior bridesmaid, so I'm stoked!!)
She would like a subtle purple color on her nails (preferably creme). I was thinking maybe a lavender jelly or a sheer purple. I don't have any polishes that fits those characteristics, but I was thinking something along the line of Zoya Miley or Orly Bon Bon.
So I'm asking you, dear readers and fellow bloggers for your help.
Do you have a polish to recommend or suggest? any would be polish that you think fits what we're looking for is greatly appreciated!! Just leave the name in the comments and I'll check it out!
I was also thinking that I could do my own mix, but if I could buy one, it'd be so much more easier!!
Thank you all!!!
Love,
X
