Rescue Beauty Lounge treatment system

These are my nails, using the RBL's full treatment system. I kept this konadicure for 10 days and I find they still look very new after more than a week. I decided to remove it only because we see a "big" part of my naked nails d=

What should I say about RBL treatment system? I absolutely love it!! Besides the good quality of the nail polishes, I really love their special yet simple bottle shape! Unlike the regular treatment with only base coat and top coat, RBL has in addition a pre base coat, which makes their system unique and outstanding. I have always found the most crucial step of doing nails be the nail care part. The secret of a good manicure is simply having a good base coat to protect the nails and let the nail polish stick better to the nail plate. As we should put a lot a lot of cream and cuticle oil, especially during winter, the base coat tends to not stick so well on our nails because of the oily surface. At this point, you will find RBL's pre base coat a genius invention! hahahah And finally, of course, a good top coat is important for the finishing step to protect the manicure and make our nails shiny and perfect.

When I do my manicure now, I always put the pre base coat, base coat, nail polish, and then the top coat. Trust me, I feel more like a professional using RBL's impeccable treatment system d=

For this konadicure, I used Essie Innocent and konad plate m57.

*I'm sorry for the bad quality picture of my nails. It is a .gif image. I don't know why when I upload this picture under .jpeg, it keeps rotating..

Surprise!

Hello readers!

As my birthday is approaching, my boyfriend has started to shop around to find a best gift for me d= This morning I received this..

Yes! It is the Rescue Beauty Lounge famous treatment system! I've been looking for a good base coat and top coat for a while.. but this 3-steps treatment was never in stock. My sweet boyfriend was kind enough to continuously check RBL's website and finally order this known-to-be-impeccable base and top coats for me as soon as the set was available online =)

I am super excited to try them on, especially because they are my first RBL nail polishes!!

Rescue Beauty Lounge Diddy Mow

Hey readers,

Here's another quick update. I wore RBL Diddy Mow all of last week, and absolutely loved it!

Army green creme- reminds me of camouflage! Application was easy and smooth, as with most Rescue Beauty polishes. All in all, I really liked this one! Will definitely be wearing it again!

Rescue Beauty Lounge 360

Oh how I wish it was summer again... I miss the sun and the beautiful weather.
The cold has already taken a toll on my cuticles, but I'm doing my best to keep them looking decent.
Hello hand cream, cuticle cream and any kind of moisturizer!

I'm currently wearing Rescue Beauty Lounge 360 on my nails and I just cannot stop looking at them! The color is so interesting. I can definitely say that I do not own anything similar.

The second picture is the closest color representation I could get from my camera, but I am posting the first one so that you can see the subtle shimmer of the polish.

360 is a muted, dusty blue. Ji describes 360 as "a move where the surfer and board spin around on the face of a wave. It also is a gorgeous deep-water aqua blue polish." There is a teal-ish element to this polish that reminds me of the sea. It is truly gorgeous and application is - as with most RBL - flawless.

All right, I'm off to work now. Giveaway announcement tonight!!! :)
Who is excited??

Edit: RBL's international shipping rate is now $18.50 (it used to be around $40). Enjoy!  :)

Rescue Beauty Lounge Dead Calm

Hi!

Hope you had an amazing week, and that you were able to take advantage of Rescue Beauty Lounge's 5 hour sale! I sure did! :)

I am currently wearing Dead Calm on my nails, a beautiful dark blue creme. I haven't worn a RBL polish in a while, but was quickly reminded why I loved this brand so much. The formulas are excellent! So easy to apply and so smooth. Plus, they have superb customer service!

I'm looking forward to buying more RBL polishes, now that their international shipping rate decreased!

I'm off to celebrate my parent's 25th wedding anniversary!
Have a great weekend!

Birthday mani - Rescue Beauty Lounge Frugalista

For my birthday, I decided that I wanted something very sparkly on my nails, and Frugalista was just that - and more!!! 3 coats of this polish and it was blinding!!!!
Frugalista is: lots of silver and fuchsia glitter in a clear base. It is drool-worthy! Blingtastic!

I spent my birthday hanging out with a few friends - skating, eating and a lot of talking and hysterical laughing. We went to see Alice in Wonderland in 3D; because what's better than spending a birthday in Wonderland, right?! I absolutely loved the movie! Every character was perfectly cast and the score was just wonderful!! I've always loved the Tim Burton-Danny Elfman combination.
I will not say anything more but if you haven't seen it yet, go see it!!!!!!

Readers, did you watch Alice in Wonderland yet? If you have, what did you think of it? If not, are you planning to go see it?

Rescue Beauty Lounge Chinoise

Hey guys!!

Wow, since the announcement of the giveaway, my number of followers doubled!! :) Thanks guys, and again, good luck!

Tonight I have for you Rescue Beauty Lounge's Chinoise (pronounced she-nwahz), a nice and smooth red. This was 2 coats. As always, applying RBL polishes is like a dream!

I have to admit that it's not my favorite color and I don't really like it, but that's probably because I don't like bright red on my nails.....

Have a good night!

Rescue Beauty Lounge Drifter

RBL Drifter is a dark plum creme. It's really nice, dries a tad bit darker than I had expected. The formula had a great consistency and is really pigmented, so I only needed 2 thin coats!

I spent my first day-off cleaning my room! Oh dear Lord, how messy it was!!
I always need to clean up my room to realize how bad it was before!! At least, I could still find my stuff easily ;P

Rescue Beauty Lounge Black Russian

Hello!!
Today, I have for you RBL's Black Russian, a smooth black creme with red micro glitter. It's really beautiful. The glitter is fine enough so that when the polish dries, it's not too bumpy. From afar it looks black, but when the light hits, you see the red glitter sparkle and it's pretty!!!!

Rescue Beauty Lounge Lulu

Hello!!!
How's your week going so far?!

RBL Lulu is a super cute light pink creme. I love the color of this one. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed: normally, RBL formula only takes two coats to get opacity. With Lulu, the formula was thin and streaky, so it took 4 coats to get bottle color and achieve evenness... still, there were a few lighter spots here and there but, I can let that slide ;) ....

Lulu owners, is your formula streaky and thin too? Let me know!!

Rescue Beauty Lounge Au Chocolat

Rescue Beauty Lounge Au Chocolat- A gorgeous chocolate creme. It's the perfect dark brown shade for me!!!

RBL's formula never ceases to amaze me. Everytime, I'm impressed by how smooth and easy it is to apply and find myself ooh-ing and aah-ing.

Have a great day!

Rescue Beauty Lounge

So I'm pretty sure you guys all heard about the Rescue Beauty Lounge 50% off event.

Luckily, I was able to get home from my exam on time to buy me some goodies!!!
I wasn't supposed to buy a lot..... but I just couldn't resist!! I'm a sucker for sales, even more for nail polishes on sale!! In addition, I knew international shipping is crazy, but I just heard that my aunt is going to the States next week, so I was able to get it shipped for $8.50 instead of $38.50!!

I spent so much time to decide on which ones I was going to get. I tried to limit myself to only 4 and at one point, had 8 in my cart!! In the end, I settled with 6 bottles haha... Anyways.. who knew spending money like that would make me that happy?!

Here's what i got:
Dead Calm
Lulu
Black Russian
Au Chocolat
Drifter and
Stormy

I can't wait to get them!!! I wanted to get Recycle too, but I have Orly Bloom Collection from TransDesign coming, and I didn't want to end up with 2 similar greens.. Hope I won't regret not getting it!

What did you guys get? Please share!

NOTD: Rescue Beauty Lounge Purple Haze

Happy Monday!
I have a busy week ahead of me getting ready for my Marketing presentation... HAPPY TIMES!

Anyways, I have sooo many purple polishes that I've never tried, I randomly picked two in a row this week. Usually, when that happens, I always go back to my untrieds box and pick another one...

I'll start with the latest one I've had on my nails, which is also my nail of the day!

As I've said many times before, Rescue Beauty Lounge's formulas are simply perfection, so I'm not gonna say anything more.

Purple Haze is a beautiful purple creme. I thought I had one pretty close to this color in my stash, but I was wrong. Very unique, I'd say.

I'm off to do more research for our project. We must NAIL this presentation because there is no way in hell I'll be able to get a good mark in the final. ;)

Rescue Beauty Lounge Bruised

Monday's NOTD for my Marketing Management presentation:
RBL Bruised, a muted redish-brown shade. This polish is veery pretty. Application was flawless, as for all RBL polishes that I own.

I don't know what else to write... I feeling pretty depressed right now because of school. I've been studying so hard and everything, but things just can't seem to go right. My grades have been horrible!!!!!!!! But I'm keeping my head up... I'm sure it's just a "first-year" thing....... :)

Rescue Beauty Lounge Mismas

Last one from the Bloggers' polish!

This is Mismas, from Michelle at All Lacquered Up. She created this one because she wanted THE perfect purple creme. Wow. She nailed it. See for yourselves:

Isn't it pretty? A dark rich absolutely gorgeous purple creme nail polish. I don't know what else to say. It's absolutely beautiful. I didn't think it would be as dark, but I can't say that I'm disappointed. As always, application was great. Most RBL polishes goes on like buttah- and this one is no exception. I loved this so much, I wore it for 4 days straight!

This costs $18 USD and is limited edition

Rescue Beauty Lounge Orbis Non Sufficit

Continuing with another Rescue Beauty Lounge Blogger polish!!

This one is from the Polish Addict, named Orbis Non Sufficit:

I'll get to the polish in a minute, but I just had to say: "DAMN YOU SCHOOL!!!!! LOOK WHAT YOU DID TO MY HANDS!".

Ok done.

I would describe Orbis Non Sufficit as a muted army green creme. It's very pretty and one of the rare greens that I like on my nails. It has a dusty look too, which I love. Pictured above was 2 coats, with Poshe top coat.

As for the other RBLs application was amazing. See that picture? I didn't do any clean-up because it was that easy to apply and control. If only all nail polishes were like that.

Again, these polishes are limited edition and retail for $18/ea USD. For all international gals, I would say get this, but only if you can justify paying $40 for shipping!

Here's another picture in sunlight:
